Project goals
To assess the potential of silicon-based bio-additives/silicones to reduce carbon footprints and alleviate plant stress caused by drought and controlled evapotranspiration.

Target group
Persons engaged in agriculture, food production, and forestry.

Detailed summary
The project aims to promote the use of silicon-based bio-additives in agriculture by reducing water evaporation, increasing plant drought resistance, and contributing to the reduction of CO₂ emissions and the achievement of the EU’s Green Deal objectives. Innovative dairy farm monitoring technologies are also being implemented, enabling real-time analysis of milk biomarkers, assessment of cow health, detection of heat stress, and the development of algorithms for early disease diagnosis.
